Message from principal

Laura Williams

SMS Family and Friends, I am honored and privileged to be serving as the Principal at Suwannee Middle School (SMS) for my fourth full year. Having served as Assistant Principal at SMS for two years before taking the reigns as Principal, and at Suwannee Elementary School for three years before that, I have watched these students grow up before my eyes. I have enjoyed seeing them mature while at SMS, accomplishing their academic, physical, and social goals. It seems like every week we have something new to explore, and I am proud that we continue to rally around our theme of "Raising the Bar," each day. should be very proud to be an SMS Bullpup, but realize that you will not be one for long. Your time as a middle-school student is short. Enjoy each moment, because they are fleeting, and soon SMS will be only a memory. Make your parents proud, make your teachers proud, but most importantly, make yourselves proud.
