Parent Survey of Public School Students (Grades 6-12) about Career and Technical Education
This summer, the Florida Department of Education has a unique opportunity to take a look at career and technical education as it is offered in the State of Florida. A short survey has been designed for the parents of public middle and high school students, which should take at most
10 minutes to complete. The survey will take a look at the child’s participation, experiences, and opinions on career and technical education programs like culinary arts, manufacturing, digital technologies and more. Parents can take the survey whether their child is in a CTE program or not. Responses will remain completely confidential. Names and other identifying information will not be requested, and all the results will be analyzed in such a way that responses will not be linked to an individual.

Dress Code

Please adhere to the Dress Code Policy as describes in the Code of Conduct Book Pg. 12-13

Dress code is being strictly enforced.  Students will be calling home for different clothes to wear.

Chromebook Update:

All students who returned their signed pink form should have received their chromebooks.  Students please charge your laptops nightly.  If you bring your charger to school it is your responsibility to keep up with them.

 Phone Messages
NO MESSAGES will be taken over the phone to be given to a student.  Parent or someone on the student emergency form must come in.  This is for the student’s protection

Student Sign Out:

ABSOLUTELY no one will be allowed to sign out a student unless the person is on his or her emergency form.  Please remember to bring in your ID for verification!  This cannot be done over the phone.  Forms are sent home with your child the first week of school.  If you DO NOT receive one they are available in the front office.

Lunch Delivery

Students WILL NOT be called from the cafeteria OR class to receive lunch.  This MUST BE arranged beforehand and student will come during his/her scheduled lunchtime instead of going to the cafeteria.  Parent must REMAIN with student while they eat lunch outside the office on the picnic tables.  This is ONLY FOR YOUR CHILD (no friends).  If student is late coming in from lunch they will be sent to Tardy Hall for the remainder of that period.

Arriving Late to School

Any student arriving after the class morning bell (8:00) will be sent directly to Tardy Hall.  After the 4th tardy student will receive a referral. **This does not pertain to students who are arriving late from a doctor/dentist etc. appointment note**
